Hey guys, my name is Rehan Elahi and I'll be your NearPeer instructor for DISC 212 (Intro to Management Science). I'm currently a Management Science senior at LUMS and this was probably the most useful course I ever took in my academic career and that's precisely why I'll be teaching it here. This course is the second installment in our series of Decision Science courses and will build upon your knowledge in DISC 112 (Computer and Problem Solving) with a focus on using all the excel and optimization techniques you have learnt to model real-world problems. During these lectures, we'll be following the original course outline as taught by Professor Adeel Zafar to some extent and this has been divided up as follows (talk about course structure).
